October 2009:

Country Head of DHL Express, moves on
Country General Manager of DHL Express, Mr. Martin Dudek moved on to a new position within DHL at the end of October 2009 having completed his tenure in Sri Lanka. He will continue with DHL based in it's Bahrain Regional Office. The SLAAEC notes it's appreciation of Martin's contribution to the association during this period.

July 2009:

Aset Limited resigns from Association
Aset Limited, a founder member of the SLAAEC submitted their resignation from the SLAAEC. Aset who represented SkyNet Worldwide Express from the inception of SLAAEC, stated they had exited the Express business and had no further interest in being a member of SLAAEC. We bid farewell to Mr. Angelo Fonseka, who represented Aset throughout this period and contributed in no small measure to the stability and growth of the SLAAEC.
